I appreciate that FlyerTalk has made me a much smarter traveler. I maximize my miles and points, as well as what they can do for me. Thanks to the tips and good advice I've picked up here, I've found that my stress level when traveling has been greatly reduced; I've been able to save more money; and I've learned how to squeeze the most benefit out of the money I do lay out.</font>
Those are my feelings exactly. Thanks Randy and Flyertalkers!

Without this place I wouldn't fly YYC-YYZ via LHR in J with certs (what? doesn't everyone do that?)

thanks to everyone who help out here providing the wonderful insight. It is great to have a place where others don't think you are crazy (or at least they don't judge you for it )

I burned up 680k last year and still have 250k in the bank and we are only 1 month in to this year) God I love this place

I have to agree. This is the best information station! I visit for advice on point accumulation & spending, excellent restaurant referrals, discounts on rental cars, plane tix and hotels, tips on achieving and maintaining VIP status ( I DO have champagne taste )interesting trip reports and real "neighborhood" viewpoints of a city I might be in for the first time. Add that to the charm and generous nature of most of the people here, willing to welcome a newbie and answer questions; and you can see why it is such a growing and dynamic place!

It IS a cult, and I'm afraid a semi-addiction. I get miffed when the site is down or I can't get internet access while on the road to see what's happening (afraid I might miss one o' those killer "only good for three hours" MR deals that pop up now and then...). Ahh, Nirvana...where the exchange of ideas and knowledge benefit the entire community as a whole....

FT is a real education in dealing with the airlines. I learn something everyday from reading FT. Some of the FTers have forgotten more about dealing with the airlines, than I will ever know.

And we used to buy Eggo! I've been asleep at the switch, merely charging EVERYTHING to our B.A. Visa card. Our hotel points are pitiful and we haven't gotten a free night yet. Our stays in the U.S. are mainly through Priceline and the hotel desks usually give me a hard time about giving points with P/L so I don't fight for them. This is my favorite site. Thanks, Randy, and everyone else!

Thanks to FT I had an option when CO went HoKeY with their upgrades, learned how to get EXP AND fly around the world in F for under $5,000, went from zero to just over 2MM miles on AA in just over two years (with 1.1MM still in the bank ), FINALLY got rid of all those AMEX Membership Rewards points and met some incredible friends all along the way. Randy, thank you VERY much for all this.
