Test Drive Miles???
Does anyone know of any manufacturers or dealers offering miles for test driving new cars? I live in San Antonio and am hoping to find somewhere close, but the thread would be of interest to others as well.

You may not actually have to drive the thing.
A few years ago I was offered 5,000 DL miles for test-driving a Buick. By coincidence, it came within a couple of weeks of my picking up a brand-new BMW, a new model with enough changes from its predecessor for anyone in the car biz to notice. I drove up to the local Buick dealer and parked it directly in front of the window. I told the sales rep that I had this card, would drive a Buick if I had do, but I had just picked up that car outside [pointing] so I wasn't likely to get one right now. He said "no problem," signed and stamped it, and I was on my way. From his point of view, he didn't waste time and a turn in the new-prospect rotation on me.
The miles posted promptly.
(Had it been a Jaguar I might have wanted to drive it, but that's a separate topic.)
