I don't know that all of these comp opportunities are literally "once in a lifetime." That sounds more like airline marketing hyppe, then true reality. Of course, programs don't want you to think that it is so easy to get re-comped. I know for a fact, for example, that UA will comp more than once. And even if a program truly has once in a lifetime comping, you could always set up a new account say at your office address (assuming your original account was at home), get the comp, and then combine the two accounts.

I've been comped more than once by CO. Anyone who suggests comps are "once in a lifetime" is stupid. :-)

Being misinformed doesn't make someone stupid.
Such statements are contrary to the spirit of Flyer Talk.

Someone forgot to take their ironic humor recognition pill this morning (that's a smiley face - it's means I'm joking).

I have been comp'ed to UA PremEx 3 yrs running, AA, DL and CO mid-tier twice. mOst were part of corporate travel deals, so I don't know if I still have "once in a lifetime" eligibility.
