did the airline mess up?
Hi all, I flew from MKE-CLE last week.
when i checked in on the kiosk thing, the agent took my bags, tagged them, gave me my ticket and sent me on my way. Not once did she ask for my ID.....did she mess up?

If you checked in yourself, then no. If the ticket agent processed the ticket, then yes. It sounds like you self-checked in so the answer is no.
