Delta does not care if you go one way or RT. It is the same # of miles, though.

BA's one way awards are particularly nice in that they cost only 50% of the miles required for a round trip.

(Mind you, since last summer's "enhancements" to the EC program, that can still be a lot of miles.)

AA really needs to offer one way awards to Europe, where first class is available on some routes but not others. There are many people who use open-jaw trips and would like to travel first class on the routes where it's available but may be forced to return in business class.
