earning miles on partner airlines
Hi,
Is there an easy way to find out for a particular airline : from which airlines or alliances is this airline a partner ?
In other words : in which programs can I earn miles on a specific airline ? Without having to go to the website of all these programs.
Most airlines have a list of partner airlines, on which you can earn miles.
So what I am looking for is the inverse information.
I already learned that airlines partners do not always have partnerships in both directions.
I hope my request is clear.
thanks,
Luc

Thanks jittichai,
This is only a partial answer : the article focuses mostly on commercial partnerships, codesharing, which is not necessarily the same as partnerships for earning miles.
Somebody should create a database with all this information, and then we can search it "in all directions".
thanks !!

You should be able to find all the airline partners of U.S. airlines at http://www.smarterliving.com/ff/
In the Mile Finder box choose the airline you are interested in from the Partner field, and a list of US Airlines it is partnered with should come up. (For full disclosure I am affiliated with Smarter Living.)
