There's a current ongoing discussion of seatmaps that's on the front page of this forum, so I'm going to close this thread and reditect you to the other ongoing thread here:

If you're asking about seeing the seat layout for any particular aircraft (rather than occupied seats on a given flight) you can usually find such a layout on the airline website in question. You might also try SeatGuru for major US domestic airlines.
If you want to see what seats are occupied on a given flight, try making a phantom booking for the flight and just bring yourself to the seat selection stage. It isn't as simple as the Seatmap tool many of us were using, but it will approximate the same effect.
