Better program than SQ Krisflyer?

Could not find info I was looking for when searching, so hope this is best location to post this question.

I joined Krisflyer when I moved out to Taiwan for work (not knowing its reputation). Now having seen some posts here in FT, I am debating whether or not I should remain in there, or switch programs to a different *A member. I will continue to fly SQ as it provides the most enjoyable flight, but wondering which *A program to join. I have already earned *A Gold (expiring 12/2009), and would prefer to requalify. I plan on moving from Taiwan back to the US in May. Should amass 70k - 75k miles before that time while flying in business class on SQ. I will probably use my existing SQ miles for a reward trip before I leave, and probably will not need anymore (seeing as how reward travel from the US on SQ is pretty high).

I will be doing most of my reward traveling domestically in the US as I will hopefully be going back to school and will want to save money. I have about 300k miles on CO, so I do have domestic travel within the US covered, but I could always earn more. Is UA worth it? I don't really like to fly UA as I pretty much fly CO for domestic travel. How is AC program? Is reward travel to Canada from the states reasonable? Should I remain in SQ? Easy to get reward tickets on UA using SQ miles? Thanks in advance...
