HHonors points gone for good?

Location: GIG. UA, All the usual hotel stuff.

HHonors points gone for good?
I guess I got caught sleeping, I had over 80K HHonors points and gold status, and just found out they're gone because I have not had a Hilton stay in the past 12 months. The CSA said there is no way to get them back - any suggestions?
