so, now i just do the rolleyes but somehow people still manage to b*tch. whatever....i am going to hold my ground. the field is "Topic Title," not "Useless Gibberish."

You have 6200 posts and I have seen none that were useful, constructive nor assisted anyone in the furtherance of their travels. I understand sarcasm as humor, but this doesn't seem funny to me. But, of course, I haven't read them all.

OK, I confess: I wrote that useless gibberish specifically to make you click on the link. Gotcha! You may thank me whenever you like.
Seriously, I *was* mildly annoyed about my previous thread (which has a fully informative topic title) having been closed ue to a misreading by the moderator, but we're all cool now: what's your excuse for crankiness?

I, for one, am very grateful to those who take the time out for posts which serve to increase the usefulness of this board for us all -- by reminding us to use informative thread titles -- just as I appreciate an e-mail whose subject line succinctly informs me of its content, or the 911 dispatcher who dutifully reports false alarms to the proper authority.
Without overtly addressing personalities, one of the leading proponents of vigilance in this regard is actually a highly-valued contributor of insightful comments to the CO Forum.
Eternal vigilance is the price of freedom, and of an efficient FlyerTalk. The time "wasted" in keeping us mindful of courtesy and manners is more than offset by the time saved through adherence to those values.
Now shall we get back to the "topic," such as it is?

Was the swearing-in ceremony impressive?

someone elected Subject Tsar should comment on incorrect or inappropriate subject titles.
it just takes someone with working eyeballs, however, to see Useless Gibberish. since i have working eyeballs, i can see that the Topic title: "let me ask the question again..." is probably (more than) a bit inadequate.
