Recognition for PAs/Secretaries
Hi. I'm an assistant who books many thousands of dollars of full-fare Y/C/F travel for the people I work for. I just came across bmi's highflyers program (www.myhighflyers.com) which recognizes assistants who book lots of travel on bmi, Lufthansa and SAS in the UK. Does anyone know of any other airlines who offer recognition and perks to the assistants who book high volumes of travel (either official programs, or maybe programs that would comp status based on the travel booked so that I could enjoy lounge access, etc. on my leisure travel.)
Thanks so much!

I have not heard of this in the USA, but you might check with your local city airline sales office or city ticket office. They could likely unofficially do something for you in terms of status, or upgrading a leisure trip for you. The key would be to get to know someone on the inside of the airline. Also someone involved in your companys negotiated fares if you have that should help.

perhaps doing a search here would turn up something. i believe that i have heard of people who book group functions [air , hotels] , can receive goodies. i'm sure that this topic has had some discussion. good luck.
