United - Earning Miles Fast - HELP!
I signed up with United a while back under a credit card promo getting 20K miles to start with.
I generated mile credits through charges to my credit card as well as an occassional domestic flight (two in the last 6 months).
My reason for doing this was to generate enough miles to pay for a ticket (possibly two if I decide to let my wife come with me) to a trip overseas (either Australia or to Europe).
ANY IDEAS for generating my mile credits as fast as possible. How can I earn a lot of miles outside of just charging to my card and taking an occassional domestic flight with UA??????
Any help/feedback is greatly appreciated. I'm sitting at around 35K right now. Thanks!

There's been talk of a United VISA double-mile promotion. Seems to be targeted. You might call and see if you qualify. Then purchase I-Bonds from the US Treasury Direct on the net. These count as purchases.
Some folks report getting a second UA VISA and a second milage bonus.

Welcome to Flyertalk, Calzone!
