Frequent flyer question -
Hi,
I have a very common question , I am planning to make a trip to Kulalampur in MH ,I know that i can earn miles in NW ,but is it possible to accumulate all my family members mile in to my account since they are not soo frequent fliers .
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Prabu

No. You cannot put all of the miles in one account.
Also, your premise of earning NW miles on MH flights may be faulty. I'm not an expeert, but I beleive its only certain (higher) fare categories that earn miles. And NO fare categories of MH flights earn NW elite status miles.

Yes you can accumulate all the miles of your family members into your account!
I have done this before and I'm quite certain of it because I received the quaterly statement that the points have been added into my account.
The only thing is that you won't get the full amount of points credited into your account. For example, if you fly F, then your own points would be 150%, C class: 125%, Y class:100%
The points that you'll receive from your family members might be less than 100%. I am not certain of this.

accumulating all points (of your family) into one/your account:
no if your frequent flier program is with NW (or KLM)
yes, if your frequent flier program is from Malaysian Airways.
