Traveling in China problem

I am having a problem booking a ticket
from Beijing to JiuZhai
Does anyone know an online site to make resevations for Sichuan Airlines or any airline traveling to JiuZhai?

yen1 welcome to FT!

Don't be surprised if a moderator moves this to TravelBuzz - you may get better answers in TravelBuzz anyway.

If China Southern fly there, you may be able to book using KLM/NW, as China Southern is a partner airline of KLM. Other than them, I've never seen a Chinese airline allow web bookings, and my travel agent has in the past had problems booking on some of the regional carriers.

Good luck!

I book flights within China on Expedia.com. I just looked and their is no airport code for a city by that name. Are you sure of the spelling? (Knowing the airport code would be even better.) Anyway, if there is scheduled commercial service, you should be able to book it on Expedia.

I've booked tickets with local travel agents in Singapore for Sichuan Airlines. Paid a 50% premium to buying them in China. To the best of my knowledge, they aren't on any online search agent. (CZ is the only one)

You'll get good discounts even if you go to travel agents who are often located in the better hotels in downtown.

No sense in using Expedia when you're in China on the principle of "when in Rome..."

I am pretty sure you have the city spelled wrong. If you are trying to get to Zhuhai (ZUH), China; than this is your airport. You could also just fly into HKG and take the ferry (1.5 hours).

Welcome to FlyerTalk Yen1.

Because this has nothing to do with miles or points, and as JenBel stated above, I'm going to move this to TravelBuzz! where you can continue to monitor it there.
