The easiest ways to get miles are to travel (a lot!) and earn miles through Singapore and their travel partners, or get a credit card and spend (a lot!). If you haven't got one already, American Express has a card for KrisFlyer members where you can earn miles on Singapore. Otherwise, be creative and have fun! There's a lot of great info to be found here. Welcome to FT!

silly.orange, welcome to FlyerTalk! As your question is really about miles and points, let me move this thread to our MilesBuzz forum for further discussion. Ocn Vw 1K, Moderator, TravelBuzz.

Some folks do use the miles for free tickets. The downside is that free tickets don't earn miles, so if you want to fly in business class some folks use their miles for free upgrades rather than for free business class tickets. If you buy economy and upgrade to business class, you'll earn miles for the economy class purchase and still have the benefit of riding in Business.
