extra CO miles flying AA

Just a small tip: Continental just added giftcertificates.com as a partner. 2 miles per dollar spent, redeemable for nonexpiring gift certificates for any fare on AA.

Even better, for NW Worldperks members who have registered for the current double-miles Back To School promotion:

Purchases at giftcertificates.com earn 6 miles per dollar until the promotion ends Sept. 30, so now is a good time to bank a nice discount on AA. After the promotion it's 3m per $ in Worldperks, plus 1 more m per $ if you charge the certificate purchase on a WP Visa card.

PLEASE NOTE IN THE T&C:

Not all WorldPerks Mall partners are participating in the Back-to-School Shopping Spree Double Miles offer.

The participating ones are listed here:

I don't see American Airlines listed on giftcertificates.com. How do you redeem an American Airlines gift certificate ?

Never mind : It doesn't show up under the general search or the complete listing, but the category by category listing shows it under travel.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but upon entering giftcertificates.com through the NW WP Mall portal, AA is deleted from the gift certifacate options... which is at the top of the list if you simply go straight to giftcertificates.com./ Hotels and Travel.
So, even though giftcertificates.com is in the WP Mall, there are no AA certificates/ WP miles to be had using this path.

AA still shows up if you enter through the Continental website.

I don't know if they're refundable, but I know they don't expire.

You can always get an emailable Super Certificate, then go in directly to giftcertificates.com and exchange for AA paper certs.

After Madgalena told me about this, I went through all of the portals I know about that list GiftCertificates.com and that give miles or points for travel, to see which could give a triple dip using a certificate for American Airlines issued by GiftCertificates.com. I put the results in the GiftCertificates.com section of the Shopping page of my web site below.
