EasySabre To Be Discontinued?
I noticed on the EasySabre Y2K site that this service is to be discontinued (presumably because of Y2K problems?). Anyone know anything about this? Check it out at http://www.sabre.com/y2k/Product/ProductITS.htm

Too bad it's way more powerful than Expedia or Travelocity (can actually see fare classes available). Guess I will have to mosey over to ITN or The Trip and see how those work in fare class display.

EasySabre is by far the best way to gather fare information on the net. If it goes away, I'm afraid it will leave us consumers with less informative websites to search airfares.

Mileage Addict is definitely right. Easy Sabre is definitely the easiest way to figure out fare classes for upgrades (on DL), mileage qualifications (on SQ and AF) etc. It'll be a real shame if it disappears ... !

The potential "Retirement" of Easysabre would be a real loss to me. I have at last count purchased over 60 airline tickets over the last few years. Easysabre is a good example of how a simple system can quickly give you access to the most information. Maybe if they kill it someone will come out with a similar system, I think that Worldspan had something like it some years ago.
