Heart Attack
My mother had a heart attack on Sunday and my wife and two young daughters flew into Albany NY. She is doing a little better but I will be staying for a while. Does anyone know a cheep way or coupon code to get the rest of my family home. Thank you

Welcome to FlyerTalk; I'm sorry to hear about your mother's health issue.
It sounds like you need to get your wife and daughters from Albany, NY; it would help if you could detail their destination from there. Or, "by getting your family home" are you asking about helping other members of your family travel to Albany?
Do you have points and/or status with any airline?

Hi John, I'm not sure this is the best venue for you to look, but I'll help.
A quick search of the ITA site showed one-way tickets from ALB-AUS on Monday 9-1-08 on Delta for $192 and United for $202. I recommend going to the airline sites directly and playing with travel dates and options.

Each airline has different rules as to what constitutes an "emergency"
While the terms of an emergency fare are flexible and allow changes and such, they are often not the cheapest. So, you might be able to find a cheaper, non-refundable fare either by calling or via a site such as Priceline or Hotwire.
