Question Frequent flyer question

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

I just wondered, if my husband and I book flights, do we both need a separate frequent flyer number or can we both use the same one?

Depending on the FF program; there are a few programs with "household" programms, but most programs are personal, so in that case you have to two separate numbers.

I was thinking the programmes from Air France and NWA. Looked on both websites and couldn't find out if I need a programme each.

Welcome to FT!

You might ask in the AF and NW forums if each carrier offers a family account.

I suspect that they do not and that you and your husband will each need you own number.

That said, you will have to decide which carrier to open accounts with and accrue miles to. As both AF and NW are SkyTeam, you should be able to open accounts with either and accrue miles with either, e.g., accrue miles flown on AF to a NW account.
