citicashcard program ends

Another good way of getting miles has bit the dust. The web-site was gone this morning, and the last time you can use the card is September 20th. At that point they will send you a check for whatever is left on the card. I'm not sure if there is a last day to load, but you can only load by phone. Don't know why they couldn't leave the web-site and state the program ended Sept. 20th. I liked the visual.

Yep, this is a sad day

I've been using the Citi Cash Card to get miles for 8 months or so. I guess I can't complain though, as I've received upwards of 70,000 miles for very little work on my part.

There's a discussion in the Visa forum about this. I think the thread title is something like 'what ways are the latest way to get cash from cards'....something like that.

By the way, anyone know of a similar card that will do the same? I've been looking at the Visa Buxx card through US Bank.
