FF Survey From Randy Peterson
Hey Gang
I just got an e-mail from Randy Peterson asking me to fill out a survey with the chance of a prize for filling it out.
I am not sure whether or not this is at true official survey that Randy wanted us to fill out or some hoax. It took me to another website, TNS or somthing like that and the personal info it asked for is phone number, e-mail, and name.
Do the mods know if this is a real thing or something FT'ers should look out for.

The email header says it was sent from Randy's email servers so you can be pretty confident that he indeed did send it out. In the future an announcement on Flyertalk would help prevent confusion. I tried to fill in the survey but it crashed halfway through, will try again later...

I filled in the survey. But found it limiting - for instance, in the question about how many flights for business in past year, I tried to enter 160 (right answer), but survey form rejected that number. It accepted 99 - probably a field width problem.

The survey does not include Southwest's Rapid Rewards on its list and then asks about miles without giving any hint how to handle the fact that RR uses credits rather than miles. Therefore my accurate reporting of close to 100 trips with relatively few miles earned is going to confuse things. If Randy helped them design this survey, I'd be surprised. Southwest should have been either explicitly excluded or included in a way that permits accurate conclusions to be drawn.

Got it, filled it out cuz it looked like the real thing. Never thought about it being a fake. Anybody know for sure one way or the other??
