Is Transfer of miles allowed ?

Hi ,
Can the frequent flyer miles can be transfered like giving as a gift ?If so does the US/UA and America west Allows those ?

You can redeem an award in anyone's name, therefore are transferrible. All frequent flyer programs pretty much do that, including the ones you mentioned.

You just have to call the airline with your miles and give them your account number and PIN and the traveller's first & last name. You can do most award travel ticketing online now too.

But, most programmes do not you trnasfer mileage balances from one account to another in order to combine miles to reach an award level.

I've redeemed lots of miles to get flights for family - so that's never a problem.

Try www.points.com . They do allow point transfers but the ratios are not good.
