Any good earning/bonus point programs for Mastercard?

I have seen different offers for points/discounts recently for using a Mastercard. However, I have never gotten one because it has never seemed all that important. If they are going to have promos though I want to apply for the best sign up deals for airline/hotels-

The MBNA Amtrak MC earns points than can be transferred to UA, Continental, and Hilton (and used on Amtrak, of course). It has no annual fee and has a good foreign currency conversion rate.

My only question has been whether the points expire after 3 years if one never travels on Amtrak.

Take a look at the Credit Card page of my web site below. Several of the offers are for Mastercards. American Airlines comes to mind, but there are others.

Please remember the limit of 25,000 points-to-miles transfer per year with the Amtrak card.
