Milles advice

begginer, please aproach with caution even if the question might be not proper posted.
Looking for subscribing to a miles program.
I am leaving in Europe and already traveled to US twice this year and planning for another trip and I would like to apply for a miles program before this trip.
Please give your advice on which would be the best miles program if I am not flying a certain company.
Thanks.

Welcome to FT.
If you post some more details, you are likely to get good advice. By more details I mean: where in Europe do you live, where do you travel often, what perks about FF programs are you in interested in, etc.

Also consider the airlines you just recently flew. If the flights weren't too long ago, you might be able to retroactively get the miles. for partners and routes of the major alliances see:

www.oneworld.com

Good luck! If you ask more detailed questions you'll get lots of good feedback here.

thanks for answers.
I am looking to the delta skymilles program for the moment.
Before subscribing I would like to know if with this or another program is possible to get on my account the milles for somebody I am traveling with and which is not having any milles subscribtion.
thanks again.

No program that I know of allows you to do this. However, there are some programs that allow you to collect as a family. The one I know about is Asiana Airlines, part of the Star Alliance.

Each Alliance has its own home on Flyertalk

Once you know which airlines you are most likely to be flying and which of these alliances you will probably want to join you might want to post more specific questions in the relevant Alliance forum.

Welcome to Flyertalk!

In consultation with my fellow mod, I am moving this to Miles Buzz, where you may get a better sense of mileage programs in general. Good luck!
