Down here in the desert, we say that the definition of a newbie is anybody who came after you did.

For me, it was when I realized that, as much as I thought I knew, the breadth of collective knowledge and experience on this forum far exceeds whatever I could ever hope to know.
Contribute when you think you know something, keep your mouth shut when you don't (we have a few who could learn from that one), and be humble when proven wrong. It'll happen regularly.
This forum is great resource and I'm delighted I found it.

while a "newbie" might have something new to share , some of the " oldbies" seem to think they know it all already and just seem to be still in here to get credits for what their input was some three or so years ago .
(welcome from a still newbie!)
