Please note that the entrance to this restaurant does not face the street - you have to walk down the side of the building. However, its neighbour (42, or 46, I can't remember which) is clearly marked, and this should help you to find your way to Harvest.

I'm supposed to land @ 6:30...is there enough time to check in (Backbay Hilton) and make the dinner, or should I just cab it straight to dinner (or drinks, as the case may be)????

I'd say you will have plenty of time, depending on your mode of transportation.
Cab from Logan to Hilton is about 25 minutes and ~$25. Subway (T) is about 30-40 minutes and involves one transfer (blue to green line).
Cab from Hilton to Harvard Square is <10 minutes. T from Hilton is about 20 minutes b/c you have to transfer from green to transfer to red line. A slightly quicker way is to get on the #1 bus (in front of Tower Records) which goes straight down Mass ave, across the rive, and into Cambridge. #1 bus' last stop is Harvard Square.

(As per Catman's request):
The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority website can be found at http://www.mbta.com and subway maps can be found at http://www.mbta.com/schedules/maps/spider/
Taking the bus costs 60c, the T (subway) costs 85c.
Using mapquest, you can see where Harvest is in relation to Boston/Cambridge:
http://www.mapquest.com/cgi-bin/ia_find?screen=ia-map-result&link=ia-map-result&uid=u6t20dnebccosayv
takes you to a map of the two cities, and Harvest is marked by the red star in the upper left hand corner of the map. Highway 2A is Massachusetts Avenue, along which the No. 1 bus runs.
The airport is off the screen to the right - highway 1 passes it.
Boston is a relatively compact city - you should have no trouble getting from A to B in minimal time.

Sorry I couldn't make this get-together. Although I do live in Boston, I will be out-of-town that week. Sorry! However, you have picked a great new restaurant to eat at near Harvard Square. Have fun ...

Thank you Ken - I was just digging up your e-mail message to see who had confirmed [Ken took care of all the confirmations while I was swanning about in the Bahamas
]
Did you deliberately omit Matt Wald, or are you just trying to wind him up??

OK, the JPEG camera is packed...the notebook too.
The only panic from Helen, "I need to pack nice clothes for dinner...what is the typical dress for the restaurant?"
In any case, see ya'll tomorrow...
(PS - Upgrades on CO for Myself, Helen and Catman look good....)

Ok...I'm at the airport and my flight looks to be on time! Headed to Boston for the FlyerFest this evening and looking forward to meeting everyone (and hearing some sort of speech from Rudi?)! See you soon.
