Points & "Last Minute" Packages
Does anyone know for sure if points are awarded by airlines/hotels for Travelocity "Last Minute" packages? I seem to recall that unlike priceline tickets, "last minute" air tickets purchased through site59 and/or travelocity earn points. I'm not sure if this is correct and I have no information about whether points are awarded for "last minute" hotel stays. BTW, I did search for past posts on this topic but came up empty-handed. Thanks for any replies.

Not sure about hotel points, but I used the packages from Site59 three times and got FF miles (as well as any bonuses when applicable) without any problems.

Thanks for confirming my suspicions.
I have a last minute tripped booked for this weekend involving a stay at a W hotel. When I called Starwood Preferred Guest services, they were not able to enter my elite membership number. I guess not only will I be unable to get points for the stay, but I probably shouldn't expect a complimentary upgrade at check-in either.
Can't blame a gal for trying though.

You never know, they may give you something extra at that time.

As an SPG Plat, I've ALWAYS received upgrades (mostly to suites) even on PriceLine stays and in many cases also got points for room & incidentals. Be sure to show your card when you check-in...

Well go figure. I got points for the hotel but not the flight!!! I flew Continental and gave my NW ff number. My account listing on NW's web site indicates the fare wasn't point eligible. I'm asking Travelocity to look into this, because as I understand things, they are simply resellers of site59's packages, and site59 indicates all flights they sell are point eligible. We'll see what happens. At least I got the SPG points (double, in fact)!
