Long distance deals
What is the best deal you've found to get FF miles from long distance telephone service? I see 2k miles signing bonus for MCI (with 5mi/$1 spent on calls), but perhaps I've missed something. Didn't MCI formerly offer 10k miles for a signing bonus?

mrithcie,
I received 5000 signup bonus, 1000 per month for 5 months, 1000 for using calling card in the 1st month, and $.05 a minute on Sundays from MCI/Continental for switching from AT&T. I really didn't call long distance very much before but now I have stepped up my calls.

In the Continental Prestige Pack:
Join MCI and get .05 Sundays plus 5 miles per dollar and...
- $25 off your first invoice
- $25 off your second invoice
- $25 off your sixth invoice
Then, after I got all of my discounts,
I switched back to ATT for $100 in service credits over four months. Finally, I just switched to NWA WorldPerks/Sprint for 10,000 miles.
