25,000 Miles Anyone?

Hey. I just saw that American is doing an on-line sweepstakes for 25,000 free miles. Started on Monday. I'm not sure, but I think you can enter your name in the drawing once a day. Check out the link below for more info.

Oh. . . you can refer friends for additional entries. Already had 5 friends enroll today. That's 6 entries in one day.

Nice!! VERY NICE!

This has been posted somewhere else already, but thanks for reminding me, I forgot you could do this every day.

Yeah, it turned up in the AA forum a few days ago: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum71/HTML/015595.html

You don't have to be an AAdvantage member to enter, but you'll eventually need an account to hold those 25000 miles

And if you win and don't have one, I'll be happy to let you use mine.

Yeah. I just re-read and found out that they are giving 25,000 miles away each DAY. Don't know why I was confused, but I thought I'd clarify for others just in case.

See you in Rio . . .

Your infinitesimal chances of winning are not worth the spam you will get for giving over your address.

You think? I haven't received any yet. Maybe you can check something that doesn't let the SPAM come in. Let me look into it on Monday.

Thanks for not entering. My chances just increased one notch up from infinitesimal to incalculabily small.

I don't know why, but I can bring up the first page, but there is nothing to click on to go to the second. Dead end! What's up with that?

Don't you see the large "Submit" button to the right of the place where you fill in your e-mail address?

Kathy, No, there is no submit button on the screen that comes up for me. I've tried both Netscape and IE, but thanks for telling me where the button should be. I clicked on that area, and got into the next page. Then I clicked around until I found the space for the next page. I have no clue why I'm being discriminated against... sigh! Jean

You probably need to upgrade your browsers to newer versions.
