AMR Stock......HOLY CRAP!

I have never seen single day, even minute fluctuations like this since 1999. With a volume of over 36M today (12:30pmCST) and single day sweeps ranging from 38% to -40% this baby is making some day traders very rich. Should have followed my gut and bought 1000 2 weeks ago.

I would hope day traders found a better stock to trade than a $3 that is not shortable.

Welcome to Flyertalk, Chapter11

Since this isn't miles-and-points related, it doesn't really really belong in MilesBuzz! which is for
<font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">Discussion of the latest frequent flyer program buzz...</font>
Normally, posts about a specific airline/airline frequent flyer program would go in that airline's forum. In this case, the American Airlines forum.

However, there are plenty of existing threads over there about Chapter 11, labor talks, the future of the airline, etc.

Instead of moving this post to the AA forum, I'm going to close it and suggest that you join in the discussion of one of the existing posts.

Best,
Gary
