Catman, Boomer and NJDavid say hi from Tennessee Mountain Restaurant in New York City.

We just had a wonderful dinner, and are exchanging more conversation over after dinner Pepsis.

Have a drink for me--make sure you talk about frequent flier programs (what else would you talk about?) so this thread doesn't go OMNI.

The two Jerzee boys (NJDAVID and the CAT) and our New YOrker buddy (BOOMER) had a great time. We talked about a variety of topics, mostly our frequent flyer experiences and how the board and the tips from everyone have made the traveling a little bit more rewarding.

ON a personal note: F-T is terrific, but sometimes it's better to meet a friend face to face and share stories, laughs, Pepsis, etc.

I hope we can do another F-T NYC get together. And when we do I hope we can have a few of you guys comes out.

It was terriffic to find out how much we all actually had in common....

Good looks, sharp wit, impeccable taste, admirable humility, etc.

The New York area contingent does Flyertalk proud

David:

As Ben Franklin once noted, the problem with humility is once you notice that you have it, you've lost it

I"m using "GUYS" in a general sense that does include women of course.

It's nice that my writing is being so critiqued by some of you here.

This is a frequent flyer forum! NOT ENGLISH CLASS!

Boomer took the pics...He-emailed them to me, but there is some sort of file translation problem....

When I get into my office tomorrow, I'll decypher them and post on the candid photo page.

That is unless the dow breaks 10K, in which case I might be a bit busy

Why is it that 2/3 of the NY FT meeting is from Jerzee? Ther's got to be a hidden meaning here.

Another thing, how can one determine the gender of a person by their moniker? A "Boomer" can be anything. And a "traveltoomuch" can be just as confusing. Everyone would assume that "JAWS_II" is a big ol' male shark, but maybe not. What about a "baobab"? Trees can be both.

Congratulations on your NYC get together. Hope you all had a "marvella", oops...marvellous time.

Your TEXAS neutral,

JAWs
