The worst domestic (US ) first class?
I just came off a round trip breakfast and dinner flight on US BOS-CLT (about tow hours in each direction).
Both were listed as a full meal.
Breakfast consisted of a mediocre croissant, a tin of strawberry jam, and a little bit of fruit.
Dinner consisted of the same mediocre croissant made into a smoked turkey and cheese sandwich and a few grapes, with a funky new chocolate candy bar for desert.
First class was pretty empty in both directions...now I know why.
I guess this was still better than my 8:06PM ORD-BOS flight on AA which had no meal at all (scheduled as such); on the other hand, my BOS-ORD 4:27PM flight had a full and excellent hot meal/dinner.
Both routes (BOS-CLT and BOS-ORD) involve similar flying times.

AA's two-class F-100's had a horrible F section. LRTF! (AA fans should be able to figure out what that stands for.)
Ironically, the one-class F-100's - all first-class - that had an excellent seating arrangement and great service. (The service was designed for DAL to ORD, LAX, and LGA.)

Best/worst service discussions across airlines probably belong over in TravelBuzz, and I'll move this thread over there.
