illness:nonrefundible aa fare

my cannot fly due to an ear infection.we have non refundable tkts for monday.any ideas?

I don't believe they're giving exceptions for illness any longer, at least not on domestic flights.

BTW, I've flown with ear infections (as have my teenagers) with no discomfort. But YMMV.
