Help picking a FF program / airline for SFO-Europe C-Class
Here's the situation. I am looking at other programs besides UA. I have tons of miles on UA that are accumulating, and I am also trying to hedge as they have been slipping. Plus, I feel it is a waste to buy C-class on UA.
Here are my flying patterns:
A good example of my flying patterns would be an upcoming trip: SFO-CDG-LON-NRT-FRA-SFO (might just go NRT-SFO, if I can get out of going to FRA). I seldom use RTW since I book relatively last minute.
(I also fly a lot domestically from SFO, mostly to LAX, ORD, SEA, and NYC, but I can keep all those on UA)
What I am looking for:
Here are my flying patterns:
- C-class travel from SFO to Europe (99% of the time to FRA, MUC, LHR, or CDG). I may arrive in one and leave from another. About 12 round trips per year.
- Occasionally, C-Class travel from Europe (again, FRA, MUC, LHR, or CDG) to NRT. About 3 per year
- C-class travel SFO-NRT, about 6 round trips per year.
- Top notch soft and hard product in C-Class
- Good redemption of miles
- Occasional upgrades
- and of course, competitive C-class prices
