Skyteam status match in PHL
*I posted this on the status match master thread earlier. Mod, please delete this thread if you find inappropriate to repost. Thanks.
I need some help on selecting which airline should I match my status to. I'm currently *silver (should go until Feb 09) with UA based in PHL. Last year I made my 2P status based on flying mostly US/UA metals.
This year, I predict my flying pattern to be as follow:
PHL-SEA/SFO/SBA
PHL-MEX
PHL-IND or some other midwest places
PHL-ABQ
There should be a 1 week of Eurotrip in there somewhere, and maybe Israel at the end of the year, depending on financial situation. PHL-IND and a part of the Eurotrip may be sponsored by my company, if I can find a conference to go to in Europe.
I realize that PHL is a *A hub and it'd make more sense to stick with *A, but now I have noticed that skyteam (DL, NW) are pushing out cheap fares on PHL. Since I travel mostly with my own money, I would like to save some while I'm at it. Any advice as to what I should do? Thanks in advance!
