Convert for free flight?
Hi all - I have an all-expenses paid three week trip to Australia coming up in October. My wife would like to join me for the last part of the trip, but we can't afford it. I have enough over 80K FF miles on Delta, enough to get a ticket, but unfortunately Delta doesn't fly to Australia (nor do any of its partner airlines - AUS/NZ isn't shown on its award charts at all). Any ideas how I could convert these miles to another FF program that does fly there? Thanks.

UA is a Delta partner andy they fly to Oz. Same with Singapore Air. Did you try calling the Skymiles folks?

Since the question is about how to use DL miles to get to Australia, I'm going to move this over to the DL forum where the experts reside.
Also, to respond to a point above, you can only use DL miles on UA domestically. DL miles for UA flights to Australia are not an option.
