I called OnePass to transfer on a Thursday morning, was told that the transfer could take up to 2 weeks, but the miles were in my Amtrak account on the next Tuesday.

Is there a minimum amount to how many you can transfer?

Eugene posted earlier, 5,000 blocks. Don't forget the 25,000 per year limit for transfers out of amtrak.

For anyone overseas who wants to go CO->Amtrak->United you should splurge for the long distance phone call to the US. The foreign offices of CO do not seem to have any knowledge of the ability to transfer to Amtrak, probably because not many "foreigners" would want to make such a transaction. I have lowered my account now to 12 miles. At that, I wish I could get those 12 miles out of the account!
