Question Miles to Spend?

I'm new to Flyertalk and learned about this site from Warner.
I need advice on what to do with the 133,000 miles I have on AA & the 84,000 miles I have on Continental.

Thanks,

Longj

Well, redeem for plane tickets when you need to fly.

You can find all the info directly and conveniently from the airline websites.

Many people feel the best use of miles is to upgrade to business or first class on longer flights.

Another cost-effective use is business or first-class international tickets if you have enough miles. (You probably do, at least on AA, but perhaps not for two tickets if that's your preference). Look at the ratio of fares and at the ratio of miles required. There's a huge difference.
