Multiple schemes vs sticking to one?

hi all

It may seem like a bit of an obvious one here but should i hedge my bets with a chosen airline partner or take out a couple of mileage schemes with different ones?
Flying trans-atlantic on business a fair bit but tend to swap airlines at the moment - any recommendations on preferred carriers?

Cheers

My advice: Read some good threads and stickies before asking general questions. With good dosages of FT food for thought, you will learn to ask good and specific questions.
