Hey, moderator Craig. How come you close the thread on British Air, but not this one? I don't see how either one has anything to do with miles.
Personally, I don't care where people post, but I rarely post anything new on this forum for fear of being blasted by the thread police or a moderator. I can never figure out where I can post a new idea that won't be blasted by someone. So, please give me a very clear statement of when you will close a thread and when you won't.
I'm sure all of the other thread police with too much time on their hands will want to chime in here, too. Have fun.

You are right pgary, this does not belong here. Rather than moving it to the United forum (where there are already tons of related threads) I'm moving it to "News". Reason is the original poster referenced a news story.
BTW, per postings in the AA forum, American has dropped the fee.
