To where transfer 100k ff miles from AE?

We have 100 k miles we could transfer from AE to one or more airline or ? When couple years ago Continental had FF reward specials to Europe or Latin America as low as 17.5k miles-we would have used them with Continental. Now we could use help which airline or hotels have the best promos or specials( probably to Europe or Australia would be our preference, but have flexibility).

You might try the American Express board here.

Last year there was a 25% bonus for transferring to CO.

There were also bonuses for transferring to DL which even came with elite status.

There was also a bonus offer on Starwood.

Don't know what specials are running now, though -- although I need to check where to put my 250k or so MR points...

And keep in mind the possibility of x-fering miles from certain airlines to HHonors points at a 1:2 ratio (except for American, which is 1;1). There are some fantastic bargains to be had there. Example: the Singapore Conrad for 39k points for a 3-night Point Stretcher award ... the service there will knock your socks off.

You may find some suggestions in the below thread (from AMEX forum). Would appreciate if you can share your final decision on FT.
