AE Double Miles Posting - How do they appear?
Can someone tell me how the description of the miles posted on their statements reads. I am seeing miles on mine, but it looks like my regular credit card miles posting. Thanks!

Hi again!
which statement? You say AE?
I have seen many miles come into accts that just show up and have ref codes to them that make me have to look back at old notes to see WHAT they are for!
Well, its hard enough to keep track but I suppose I cant complain should I ever get extra free miles posted. I am not sure what you are asking though.

I have alwayssssss wished airlines and partners would PLEASE give us (A) a reference number or some indicator as to WHAT is what, and (B) they have a better more thorough title for when things post so we know what they are. Again, this could certainly cut down on the number of telephone calls they must get asking what something is and how it posts, etc.
Since they do not care and do not set up good systems like that, then I think it is OK to reap from them anything they make in error in our favor (like 60,000 mistakenly credited miles, for example!)
bad systems and accounting call for our being able to find and use all holes in said systems, IMHO.
