AA has announced free space-available upgrades for all elites traveling on full Y tickets starting in '03.

US is changing their upgrade program from 800 mile certs to 500 mile certs and changing how the number of certs is calculated to include each segment individually instead of only counting from origin to destination regardless of connections. (Note: This change is actually supposed to be implemented in December 2002)
