UA Tution Double Miles
If you are enrolled in College Plus and have the C.P. Visa you can get double credit for anything purchased on campus or for tution!!!

Actually, according to united.com, this offer seems to be open to all MP Visa holders. There are some other restrictions as well, so follow the link for full info.

No CC fees at my school, but the bonus is only on costs over $200 (which a single book will likely surpass anyway). Last year it was double miles on expenses over $1k, so this is much better. I'll find out tomorrow just how many miles this is going to get me this semester.

I made this work last year and we paid for tuition with the crdit card. But due to quirks with school loans this year we miss out on the bonus miles. It's quite a hit...with $15,000 in tuition and about $1K for books at double miles, we lost out on a bunch of miles. I tried every which way to make it work this year but no dice.
Will be able to take advantage of the student mileage plus program and the 10K mile bonus for graduating though.

The maximum reward accumulation during the entire promotional period is 5,000 miles for Visa Signature, Gold Class Visa Signature and Platinum Class Visa Signature ; 2,500 miles for Rewards and College Visa cardmembers.
