My wife and I each have purchased the limit both last year and this year. Most of these have been purchased during Amex/Delta Skymiles double mileage offers and so we have generated almost 300,000 miles. Thank you Flyertalk!

No..some delta skymiles credit cards ( Gold ,Platinum ) have the ALWAYS DOUBLE miles thing on them. Its not a promotion ..Its an ongoing thing....

savings bonds do qualify..thats what i read in some old posts

I can't find any old threads that state the always double applies to bonds, only purchases such as gas, grocery stores, per the AMEX website. The double points for bonds applied to the special limited-time promos. I'd like to know so I can complete my savings bonds purchases this year with the correct card. Thanks!
