They are good, if you get the good surveys. There's much more discussion about them in the SPAM area.
At the Freddies some of the people were saying they hit 500 in no time and they posted, others like me seem to have been hitting drier times as it go to 480 points or whatever.

500... huh? what?
How is it that some of you have 500 miles already, I am stuck at like 320! Where are these surveys coming from. I need the miles for the 25,000 mile promotion from Delta!
Thanks

They go by quarters and the next one ends june 30th, so it would not count for Delta's promo...... Make sure to check out the discussion on the Delta forum I am now at 12 activities, Mom is at 8 for it.....

I hit 500 miles a couple weeks ago, but if you read the fine print, they only post quarterly. So, wherever you are at the end of a quarter, determines the eligible miles. I think the first quarter ended March and the next quarter end at the end of June.

Check the thread in post mentioned earlier in this thread, but below is my thinking on this whole thing.
I set mine up to get miles on NWA. Got to 495 points by the end of first Q so have to wait til June for mine to post. Dont know if anyone with NWA got their miles yet but it seems legit after all because others said the 500 cam to them.
I personally do not like to do anything with these types of sites except get the 5 points. Like with MyPoints, I rarely would do any of the activities and be teased by the 20 or 50 or even 100 point promisses because of two things:
1) now you've signed up for something and this turns into more SPAM. Oh ok it's some non business email address you are using, but still, it's something else to deal with. Those little buggers add up and I have enough of them already, don't you? Don't tell me you don't. I don't believe you if you do. (It's like when people claim they have only one password for every account they own online. NOT possible. That's something I don't believe either!)
2) you need to rely on and wait for the points from some obscure 3rd party partner and it's so little it's hardly worth chasing, but it still gets me miffed when I did sign up for X to get say 50 points and nothing comes of it. With Mypoints, I am often searching for the fax or phone number and have to keep the same sort of printed records that I would if I were missing say 5,000 miles from some airline promo I am waiting for. You need to pick you battles. I am learning more about this every day.
Nevertheless, these emile 5-point offers have been coming thru and they do credit the minute you do the tiny 3 question button survey that they give you with whatever ad or service they are talking about. You can get emails that tell you there are offers in your account, or you can log in on your own and often times they will be there without notice. I always say "yes I am interested in seeing ads about this product or service in emiles again" even if I am not. It IS worth 5points after all for me and for you!
I got to pass 500 (am at like 530 now) just into April and so I will wait til June. May not deal with this one too much but it is a good way to keep an airline account alive and hey, if it's no real work or stress, then it's worth it to do it.
So that's my logic. Good luck!

I recieved my NWA miles on the first day of the new quarter (April 1).
E-miles is quick and easy and a brainless way to get a couple miles every now and then. Every survey is in the same format (3 questions) and takes literally 20 seconds to complete one. Cheap on the miles, but easy enough.

Yeah, I realize this, but I want to know WHAT everybody did to get to the 500+ miles! What surveys etc... I know they wont post on time, and have thoroughly read the T/C's
