what happened to the topic with no title anymore?
I wonder what happened to the title "spies, espionage, Spione". The title disappeared from my monitor and I can't click it anymore ....
The discussion was about the "danger" of revealing "holes" in mileage-programs (danger of airlines discovering those holes and eliminating them).

I got to it with no problem...I even had a reply on the omitted thread.
Make sure you cut and paste the whole url thread...it should work. If you can't get there, send me an email by the end of the day, and I will reply. Can't reply after today because I will be on vacation.
**** I think we are being censored.

Rudi ~ I'm starting to think your paranoid *grin*
If they were listening, don't you think they would have implemented all of the great changes that have been recommended in the discussions here? *grin*
The airlines don't even seem to read letters you send directly to them, I'd be quite surprised if they were in here reading our discussions, but you never know.

One person that posted on here provided a link to his airline complaint site; he stated that one airline visited his site every week. Yes, the airlines probably frequently check comments on this site or hire someone to do it for them. One firm actively searches the entire internet to find anything said about their client; large corporations usually hire the firm to find out what is being said about them. I agree we should not post where the "holes" are so that the airlines can fill them. I also never say anything that I know to be inaccurate or false.

Justin, your comments about airlines (and other firms) checking sites like this one is very interesting. Many companies are very scared of what "virtual communities" like these will do to business. In the past, customer complaints about service, prices, etc. had very limited distribution. You wrote a letter to the company with your complaint and maybe told a few friends/colleagues. In a few rare instances, maybe the press did a story about an issue that impacted numerous customers. Things are different now. Complaints receive very wide distribution - anyone on the Net can access these postings and learn of problems with particular firms. It puts even more of a premium on customer service and quality than ever before. Although airlines may be looking at this site, not a single one has done anything (at least from what I've seen) to address issues raised. They don't get it! This a great opportunity for them to establish productive dialogue with some of their best customers! If any airline reps. are reading, take the plunge. Help us FFs understand your concerns and policies while helping us get problems resolved.

It was probably only a computer (software) failure - and I am so proud, that you/we consider my opinion that important that it may be "killed" by somebody.
A "professional killer" would have erased everything.
