You read Bild?
Surprisingly for a German "newspaper" they did not analyse the programs for Europe, only for the other continents. Also, they hardly give any information as to how they came to the conclusion of the ranking. Typically Bild, how would you expect more....

Not a single OneWorld program mentioned here -- but perhaps unsurprising since you'd have to connect from Germany, whereas with Star Alliance you can often fly direct.

Yes it is a dodgy article however it does mention both CX AsiaMiles and QFF which are both oneworld AFAIK.

It does make a lot of sense.
Continental has a lot of good flights in Germany - and as far as Germany goes you can fly A LOT on lufthansa etc - and credit those to united and be much better off.
You only can fly to London and directly to other far away places outside of Europe with oneworld (yes that is very simply spoken).
This is one of the destictions they make in the detail descriptions.
Onepass also wins overall because as far as I can gather from there you can collect miles from AF / KLM on this - meaning intereuropean flights. A lot of them.
There is in fact no mention at all of more oneworld programms but again - given the limited amounts of really making something and how usual germans might treat their travel habbits, this is not that surprising.
I am with oneworld (ba and now more aa) for the basic reason that their mechanisms work out for my specific needs which are very north america centric. otherwise I would have chosen probably united as well.
" Bild.T-Online zeigt Ihnen die Ergebnisse des Tests der Zeitschrift Reise & Preise."
Meaing there is a longer test in that magazin. Bild of course is Germanys biggest tabloid, with said to have over 5 million readers.
Given the profile those readers have, they are more likely to fly economy 2 times a year than biz several times a year.
