Can any TAs answer a question?

I'd like to ask any TAs out there a question.

I made a booking with a travel.com.au to NYC on UA. I selected certain flights via SFO. There is V class availability on all flights. But The CRS rejected my flights and booked me on other flights via LAX one way, and and a different flight via SFO on the return.

What could be the reason for such a rejection? I went through with the TA who said it didn't seem to go against fare rules, and would call UA tomorrow to sort it out. My question is, if they conclude that there's no reason why it can't be booked, only that it gets rejected, is there any way to override the CRS?

thanks
goodo
