Perks for applying for AMEX Blue?

Does anyone know of any miles/points earning opportunities for applying for an AMEX Blue card?

It has no annual fee but the transfer ratios between Blue points and mileage programs kinda suck.. plus, you have to transfer in blocks of X miles/points, usually..

The Blue:*Wood ratio is like 8:1. Pretty sucky if you ask me.

I'm more interested in bonus miles, etc just for applying for the card.

It's not miles or points, but applying for a Blue card through ebates.com will get you $15 cash. Go to www.ebates.com and create an account (there used to be $5 referral bonuses, but I'm not sure if they're stil available) and then use the search box to search for "American Express". You should see a link with the following:

"Get paid $15 when you receive an Am Ex Blue Card that offers 0% introductory rate for 6 months, as low as 10.99% fixed APR thereafter and no annual fees."

Anybody got any more details on the ratios and the minimum amount of points required to transfer?
